Sacramento Trip and Body Fat

Yesterday I was completely frazzled trying to make, weigh and pack all of my food for the next two days. I also needed to remember to pack my heels, a few swimsuits, possible theme wear and my checklist of questions. Usually I make my trips to Coach solo, but this time my husband, Dave, wanted to fly up to Sacramento with me to check out the gym. While it is awesome to have Dave here for a glimpse into my world (as if the poor guy doesn't have enough of a glimpse by living with me), us leaving together meant we had to take the dog to the in-laws and fly out of LAX which is a lite further than our local airport. Combine that with a 6:30am flight, we got up around 4:15 this morning. Luckily we had a smooth flight complete with a grande Starbucks coffee (black with my latest spice addiction: cinnamon and nutmeg) and my good old paper notebook. I use my idle time in the airport to brainstorm business ideas and write out my to do lists. I get excited and inspired just thinking about it!

We all have the same time in a day, same foods to choose from and same tools we use to sculpt our ideal body.

We arrived to the gym shortly after 9:00am when the girls had just started posing/walking practice. It's amazing how much their bodies have changed since I last saw them at the ACHIEVE seminar mid-January. WOW. The entire car ride from the airport I felt nervous and excited. Was my progress going to be enough? Would all of my hard work be noticed? Are my show goals realistic? The answer we've all been waiting for, myself included... Yes, yes and yes!

After a killer posing session with the girls oohing and aahing over my progress, weighing in, measurements and body fat... I weighed in at 114 lbs. All of the blood, sweat and tears has truly paid off. Ok ok, there was no blood, but there were aches, pains and blisters! I'm relieved that my body is responding I am on point for my May 12th debut with the WBFF. Another great part of my day? Steak tonight. I'd say I would take a picture, but it probably won't last that long on my plate :) It sure beats the tilapia I've been eating for my last two meals every night.
A little love from my friend Liz. She gave me the sweetest "Congratulations" card on my transformation so far.

Until next time Sacramento...

Stay tuned for some major March announcements!

xoxo

I can't picture you being frazzled. You always seem to have it together! :) Either way, you Rock and are kicking booty. You are my daily inspiration :)
